Nolan Davis and Hazel Green Village Management Limited entered into a demolition contract and development contract. Catton was the authorised officer, major share holder and director of Hazel Green. As a result of disputes between the parties, Nolan Green commenced adjudication again Catton personally. Whether he was personally liable on both contracts was determined by the Adjudicator as a preliminary issue. The Adjudicator found that he was personally liable on both contracts. The Court enforced the Adjudicator’s decision as the Adjudicator had ruled on the question and it was a matter that he had the jurisdiction to decide.
