Senior Associate promotions across London and Dubai offices further bolster Fenwick Elliott’s construction specialist team

Fenwick Elliott is delighted to promote Natalie Mackay (Dubai), Marina Samountry (London) and Chetan Raghwani (London) to the role of Senior Associate, effective from 1 December 2024.

Natalie, based in Fenwick Elliott’s international hub in Dubai, joined the firm in 2020. She has acted for local and international companies on disputes arising out of major construction and infrastructure projects in the Middle East. Natalie has experience in both advancing and defending claims under the ICC, DIAC, ADCCAC, ADGM and QICCA Rules.

Marina is a New Zealand-qualified solicitor in Fenwick Elliott’s London office. She joined the firm in 2023. Marina has extensive experience advising on contentious construction issues, including complex court proceedings and dispute resolution forums. Marina has specialist expertise in the Building Safety Act 2022, fire safety disputes and large-scale defective building claims.

Chetan, a non-contentious specialist operating from Fenwick Elliott’s London office, joined the firm in 2024. He advises on a broad range of transactions from inception to post-completion, and has experience working across a wide range of sectors including the built environment, technology and clean energy.

The announcement builds on the promotion of Sonia Ginders (London) to Senior Associate in July 2024, as well as the hire of Associate Theo Robinson (London) in June 2024.

Senior Partner Simon Tolson commented: “We are pleased to celebrate the well-deserved promotions within our London and Dubai offices, which reflect Fenwick Elliott’s commitment to investing in the future growth and success of our firm.”
